Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about Rapid Resolution, timing, pricing, service scope, and insurance planning.
How much does Fabsy charge?
Rapid Resolution costs $198 CAD plus applicable GST for an eligible Alberta pre-trial matter. The Insurance Impact & Renewal Planning Report costs $49 CAD plus GST, or both services cost $229 CAD plus GST. Government fines, third-party fees, trial representation, and out-of-scope work are separate.
Is Fabsy a law firm?
No. Fabsy is an Alberta traffic ticket agent service, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. Service availability and scope depend on the matter and court location.
Does Fabsy promise a particular result?
The service fee is paid upfront. Payment does not start the 30-day refund clock. No legal outcome is guaranteed. If the Crown rejects Fabsy's efforts to reduce your original fine or demerits, or withdraw your ticket, and none of those improvements is obtained, Fabsy refunds your service fee within 30 days of receiving the rejection. A reduction in the fine, demerits, or both counts; a dismissal also improves the original penalty. Government fines are separate.
Can I get a refund if I decline a reduced Crown offer?
If the Crown offers a lower fine, fewer demerits, or both and you decline it, you do not qualify for a refund under this guarantee. Refunds under this policy apply only when Fabsy obtains no reduction on your behalf.
Will disputing a ticket affect my insurance?
Disputing a ticket does not itself create a conviction. Insurance treatment may depend on the final outcome, your driving record, and your insurer's underwriting rules. Ask your insurer about your circumstances.
How long will my matter take?
The 48-hour clock begins only after complete, readable disclosure is received and matched to the file. It covers Fabsy's review and next authorized action, not Crown response time or the date of a final outcome.
Does Rapid Resolution include a trial?
No. Rapid Resolution covers an accepted, eligible pre-trial matter. Trial representation, appeals, reopenings, government charges, and out-of-scope work are separate. If you want to proceed to trial, any available representation is quoted separately on a case-by-case basis.
What matters does Fabsy review?
Fabsy reviews Alberta traffic ticket matters and may offer traffic ticket agent representation where permitted and available. Scope depends on the ticket, court location, and circumstances. Submitting a ticket does not mean the matter has been accepted.
What happens after I submit my ticket?
Fabsy reviews eligibility and deadlines, confirms the accepted scope, requests and tracks disclosure, analyzes complete disclosure, and prepares or submits the next authorized prosecutor-review step. You receive updates as the file changes and direct whether an available pre-trial resolution is accepted. Keep following every instruction and deadline printed on the ticket unless Fabsy confirms otherwise.
Will Fabsy automatically accept a Crown response?
No. Fabsy explains the original ticket and any Crown response in plain language, then obtains your file-specific instruction before an available resolution is accepted.
What is the $49 insurance report?
A personalized, source-backed planning report covering potential conviction impact, renewal timing, conviction-aging dates, public insurance research sources and questions to ask a licensed broker. This report provides consumer research and planning information, not an insurer quote, licensed broker recommendation or promise of eligibility, premium savings or a particular insurance outcome. Fabsy is not an insurance agent or broker and does not sell, quote or place insurance.
